Winter Left Over

I had a long week last spring break and no fun of the rainy weather for 6 days,
I still am very tired right now that I slept all afternoon from 1pm-5pm!
I really have nothing in mind but a quick (and late) post of how
my birthday party turned out from the first week of March...

A gourmet cake from my wonderful friend Shelley

A vegetable Philippine gourmet meal called "Chopseuy" cooked by myself.

A Philippine all time favorite "Lumpia" cooked by myself.

And, I also held a scrapbooking party hosted by my friend Noelle.  As a scrapbooker, it was my first time to do this at my house and it was fun, but of course I did not tell my friends that it was also my birthday.
The products are from Creative Memories .

Some daffodils for my decoration in the kitchen counter on a vintage vase.

Balloons from my friend Shelley.

Birthday cards, champagne and wine glasses.

A present from Shelley.

Some of my presents, the rest were checks and cash which was good.
But I saved them untouched in my bank.

Our youngest guest with the youngest member of our household entertaining her.

Shopping in vintage and antique stores in Portland.

( Gin Martini Up Exta Dry and Dirty for my husband and
Black Butte Porter for my love of dark beer)

Another dinner.  Well, the story was we went to one of the newest restaurants in Salem after coming home from Portland but the line was on the long wait so we hopped on  another restaurant and same thing.  I guess it was one of those busiest Saturday nights! We ended up to Applebee's in our rush to catch up with the movie "The Artist" at the theater.

"Blackened Tilapia" - my entre.

Sent the little one to the babysitter and we made it to this amazing Award Winning Movie of the Oscars!

Wishing everyone a bright and blooming spring !
